In Vietnam, the rise of local brands is all the craze right now. The products of these brands are handcrafted and designed by talented designers in the country. Compared to global luxury brands, Vietnamese local brands are more affordable while matching the quality of designer brands.


Fanci Club:


  • Playing into the return of the Y2K style, Fanci Club made a statement not only in the local Vietnamese community but also in Hollywood. As seen on major stars like Doja Cat, Kourtney Kardashian, and Suboi, Fanci Club’s clothes are made for real life dolls. Fanci Club started at a thrift store where the head designer, Duy Tran, uses recycled fabrics to create one-of-a-kind pieces. His designs are influenced by the style of the 80s and 90s, with extravagant corsets and gloves where most designs are tight skin, sexy revealing dresses. Fanci Club focuses on a pastel color palette, making the aesthetic of the brand more dreamy.

Moi Dien:

  • Moi Dien was founded by the designer Tom Trandt, a Parsons alumni. Moi Dien is the perfect combination of Vietnamese, Western, and streetwear style. Being a hit in the hip hop and streetwear community in Vietnam, Moi Dien produced contemporary unisex clothing with can fashion anyone. The designs of Moi Dien are based on the local Vietnamese fabrics. Playing around with fabric textures like pleating and quilt, Trandt’s Moi Dien pieces are one-of-a-kind showstoppers.






La Lune:

  • Founded by Quach Dac Thang or better known as Vicki Virus, La Lune is one of the hottest brands in Vietnam right now. Known for their skin tight, kitchy style, La Lune’s pieces are seen on the hottest Vietnamese celebrities like Chau Bui and Toc Tien. Vicki incorporates heart cutouts logos throughout all of his designs, creating the La Lune signature monogram and style that can be instantly recognized. Their clothing is glamorous, elegant and sexy at the same time.

Aeie Studio:

  • Founded in 2016, Aeie Studio quickly became Vietnamese Gen Z’s favorite brand. Inspired by the city of Saigon, Aeie’s clothes are made from high quality fabric, making their designs unique. With every new collection, Aeie Studio experiences new fabrics and silhouettes while still maintaining the sexy identities of the brand. Their clothes are for young women who are unique, confident and have a bold personality.







Daphale Studio:

  • Daphale was founded in Germany by a Vietnamese influencer, Thao Nhi Le. With bold feminine style and personality, Thao Nhi wants to bring her products to adventurous women who accept the adventure of life and want to be confident with their style and sexuality. The brand’s clothing consists of lingerie as well as simple casual clothes for everyday wear. All designs are crafted by high quality fabrics with intricate details. Their products are made with high quality designs, textiles, and fabrics to match the price tag.










Vietnamese local brands are not so local anymore. These brands are reaching international customers, making headlines in the fashion industry and bringing Vietnamese designs to the global stage. This is only the beginning for the Vietnamese fashion industry.
