During the past week, the most prestigious fashion award “The Council of Fashion Designers of America” (CFDA) was hosted in New York City. The annual awards ceremony is known for gathering and awarding some of the best and brightest models and minds in fashion. And from the looks of the evening's ensembles, celebrities delivered on this standard.

Zendaya
Zendaya made history this past week for being the youngest winner of the Fashion Icon award. For the past few years, Zendaya and Law Roach, her stylist, have become an iconic fashion duo. They served many amazing looks on different red carpets and this is no different on the CFDA’s red carpet. Zendaya wore custom Vera Wang, Jimmy Choo heels and Bulgari jewelry. Her all-red ensemble consisted of a tube top with a puffer skirt. Zendaya looked daring next to Law Roach, who was also wearing a custom Vera Wang plaid outfit.

HoYeon Jung
Hoyeon Jung is the newest fashion girl with her recent collaboration with Louis Vuitton as a global ambassador. She has been wearing the newest Louis Vuitton designs for events and this one was no exception. She wore an all black custom Louis Vuitton with gladiator sandals from the same brand. Hoyeon Jung brought the Roman vibe with a toga style oversized dress.

Anya - Taylor Joy
Anya Taylor Joy was honored this year for the first ever Face of the Year at the CFDA. She brought the classic Hollywood vibe through her beauty and acting. She represented timeless and eternal beauty. On the red carpet, she channeled the 60s film star style with a purple Oscar de la Renta look. She paired it with a cheetah print hat and gloves by Gigi Buris. Her Tiffany and Co diamonds elevated the look to Hollywood glamour.

Ashely Olsen
Ashley Olsen and her twin sister, Mary-Kate Olsen were nominated for the American Accessories Designer at the CFDA this year. Ashley Olsen made a rare red carpet moment to represent her sister and their brand, The Row, in a custom The Row design. She wore a full black tailored jacket paired with a black clutch. Her look was simple yet sophisticated.

Paloma Elsesser
Paloma Elsesser is one of the top plus sized models in the fashion industry and a body positivity activist. She served on the red carpet in a full Peter Do design. The monochromatic army green look consisted of a turtle neck pullover, asymmetrical skirts with matching pants. The garment fitted Paloma like a glove, hugging her curves and flattering her body.

Ciara
Ciara looked sexy at the CFDA this year with a look styled by Kollin Carter. She wore a version of LBD or “Little Black Dress” by Tom Ford paired with a black peep toe sandals. The dress featured a plunging neckline and sheer sleeves paired with a velvet corset structure for the bodice. She channeled Beyonce through her blond updos, similar to Beyonce’s Bday hairstyle.

Eva Chen
The fashion editor and children’s book author Eva Chen turned heads in a Peter Do ensemble. She looked gorgeous in an all champagne color design. She wore a satin long sleeve shirt paired with a pleated satin skirt. The layering created a beautiful illusion and made the look more interesting.

Amine
As the only male to make the list, Amine did not disappoint in a full Thom Brown design. Attending the awards on November 10 with Thom Browne, a nominee for American Menswear Designer of the Year, Aminé wore a calf-length black trench coat with a short suit, complete with a bow tie and boots. The look was interesting, yet effortless.

Emily Blunt
Host of the CFDA this year, Emily Blunt shone in a neon orange suit by Christopher John Rogers, who won the Best American Womenswear designer. She paired her pant suits with layered necklaces that elevated her polished look.
