Since the start of March, brands are rolling out their ready-to-wear (RTW) collection for the fall and winter season. From New York Fashion Week to Paris Fashion Week, this season is one of the most widely anticipated. Many beautiful trench coats were displayed along beautiful sweaters.

Thom Browne:

For the 2021 fall RTW collection, Thom Browne created something not RTW at all. Thom Browne has been known for his crazy silhouettes with deranged layering and for this collection he delivered. Using materials like quilted fabrics and leather, he created interesting layering and out-of-this-world silhouettes. This collection uses the monochromatic color scheme which highlighted the clothing. Thom Browne was inspired by athleticism, the Olympics with which he delivered it through cinched corsets, fanned out skirts, and shrunk jackets with voluminous wool piqué and flannel shirt dresses.

Versace:

There were 2 stand-outs from this collection: new Versace monogram and new Versace platform shoes. Donatelle Versace incorporated these 2 new things and put them into 70s inspired collections. This collection is simple yet still fun. With main colors like brown, bronze, and black, this

collection is very wearable. This is perfect for office wear while still being super stylish.

Schiaparelli:

Ever since Daniel Roseberry joined the house of Schiaparelli, he has transformed the house back into the mainstream of the fashion industry while still keeping the same DNA of Elsa Schiaparelli. For his Fall RTW 2021 collection, it seemed like this is an extensive and more wearable version of his previous very successful Haute Couture collection.Roseberry made molds of the women’s body and transformed them into fashionable looks. The clothing of this collection is very classic but has a twist, making the clothes very elegant and chic.

Valentino:

Valentino delivered another collection with the same monochromatic color trends. Piccioli delivered amazing trench coats, sweaters, and blazers. While this collection is not life changing or out of this world, Valentino still delivered amazing clothes. Simple and wearable, this will sell very well for stylish fashionistas.

Givenchy:

This fall winter 221 RTW season, most brands jump on the dark color trends. Most brands produce an all-black or dark collection and Givenchy is no exception. Mathew Williams, the brand’s creative director, produced one of the sexiest collections this season. He used materials like puffer fabric, wools, fur, and laces. While the collection is quite revealing, there were many pieces that are still weather-appropriate. The black and rich brown color of the collection made it stand out. Mathew Williams combined Givenchy classic silhouettes in a beautiful constructed blazer with his own twist from his own brand, Alyx studio. He targeted Gen Z and millennials markets, making Givenchy more young and appealing.

Loewe:

Jonathan Anderson is a genius who is famous for his crazy constructed silhouettes and color patterns. He transformed Loewe this season into something different. Differing from the trends, Anderson used colors and patterns to make this collection stand out. Layered with a deconstructed silhouette, Loewe’s looks are always interesting and out of this world. Another stand out was the accessories Anderson presented this season.

Balmain:

Ever since the pandemic hit the world, traveling has been put on pause and most have forgotten what traveling feels like. For this collection, Balmain reimagined what life after Covid would be like. The brand delivered not only perfection tailored clothing but also hope for our future. With the military as their inspiration, Balmain used khaki and green to bring us this collection. A stand out was the accessories of this collection. In addition, new bags were brought out along with the Balmain monogram.

After another successful season, fashionistas and customers all around the world are quite satisfied. There was a lot of creativity displayed along with beautiful construction and many wearable pieces that will fit for everyday wear.
